History



Coast Recorders has been in operation since the early '60s. The present location started as Mercury Recording in 1969, and was chosen and remodeled by Bill Putnam in 1971 as the new home for Coast Recorders. It has been known by other names, but will once again be known as Coast Recorders, and take its former place as a premier recording studio.
